Grab your Fall Bluegrass Festival before it is too late!

JD Crowe

Hello everyone.  If you missed the Starvy Creek Bluegrass Festival in Conway, MO you can try it next spring.  I had a chance to go down for one day to see J.D. Crowe and the New South.  They were great and just as smooth as it gets.  I believe there were record crowds attending.  Fortunately, I was able to sit on the front row thanks to Ron R.

It is not too late to attend the Golden Valley Bluegrass Jamboree which is next weekend in Clinton, MO.  Hope you can make that one as it the last one for this Fall.

Also don't forget that October begins our Bluegrass Clubs meetings.  The second Friday of eac month is the KC Bluegrass Club and the third Friday of the month is the HABOT Bluegrass Club.  See the links on the right side of this blog for directions.  The Clubs are so much fun with lots of good bands and lots of picking/jamming as well.
