I just got back from the Lee's Summit Oktoberfest where I played bass for Gary Russell's band, Sugar Ridge. We were scheduled to play at 3:15 pm and it looked all day like we were going to be rained on if not out. Well we were able to get out gig in and all went well. After we finished, I walked straight back to the car and loaded the bass. As we drove out of the parking lot it started to rain and continued for about an hour. It was one of those few times that it worked out. Saw a few people from the jam and church there. Hope all had a good time. See you all soon and keep pickin.
